Shawnee National Forest (May 2018)
It was the sixth of May, a wonderful day in which Spring loudly proclaimed that it was here to stay. Elise and I went for a hike in Shawnee National Forest, specifically the Garden of the Gods wilderness. We hiked both the Observation Trail and Indian Point Trail. Nothing too challenging, but we weren't out to push ourselves to our limits, but to instead enjoy each other's company. These are some of the sights we were lucky enough to see.
